MASTER LECTURE:
The Comparative Cognition Society is very pleased that the 2009 Master Lecture will be presented by Professor Herb Terrace (Columbia University)

BANQUET:
The conference banquet will be held Friday evening and will include presentation of the CCS Research Award to Dr. Terrace.  Please reserve your place at the banquet by paying the banquet fee when you register for the conference.

WWW PUBLICATION OF PRESENTATIONS:
Presenters will have the option of having CCS publish PowerPoint versions of their presentations (spoken or poster presentations) on the society web page.   Abstracts of all presentations will be included in the Proceedings of the conference, which is posted on the CCS web site.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
All rooms are oceanfront 1 bedroom suites, with kitchen/dining/work areas, a king-size bed in the bedroom, and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Because these are suites, up to 4 adults can comfortably share a room. Hotel Reservations at the discounted conference rate should be made by calling 321-773-9260.  When you make your reservation, be sure to tell the reservation desk that you are coming for CO3.  The conference promotional rate is $154.99 + tax  per night.  The hotel holds a limited number of rooms at that rate and these are "first come, first serve" so make your reservations early!   Note that a small number of rooms are available at the conference rate before the conference begins (Tuesday night) and after the conference (Sunday night).  You may want to take advantage of this if you decide to extend your stay in Florida.

GETTING THERE
You may elect to fly to Orlando or directly to Melbourne.  In either case, we recommend that you rent a car for travel to interesting restaurants and attractions such as Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center.  It is important to make your hotel, car, and air reservations early, as this is prime time in the Florida sun.
